Q.Can any kimono or obi be remade?

Before you send the item, we can consult by email, phone, or LINE. Photos are also helpful so we can advise you.

Q.I am worried it might feel tight.

We will discuss the fit and finish so the piece can be worn comfortably.

Q.Can an old or damaged kimono with sentimental value be remade?

In many cases, yes. If the damage is severe, some remakes may not be possible. Please consult with us first.

Q.Can all types of kimono be remade?

Even with stains or age-related changes, we do our best to make use of the material. Depending on condition, we may suggest another form.

Q.What payment methods are available?

Payment is by bank transfer.

Q.Is there an additional shipping fee for Hokkaido, Okinawa, or remote islands?

These areas are not included in free round-trip shipping; an additional 2,000 yen shipping fee applies.

Q.Can I cancel if I decide not to proceed with the remake?

We will discuss the fit and finish so the piece can be worn comfortably.

Q.How long does a kimono remake take?

Usually about 45 days to two months after the kimono arrives. If you are in a hurry, please contact us and we will do what we can.

Q.Can I order from far away?

Yes. We accept orders from across Japan. You can send your kimono by delivery service; after it arrives, we carefully check its condition and discuss the remake.

Q.How should I store the finished piece?

Hang the kimono dress on a non-slip hanger, cover it, and store it in a closet.
